The right of animation is the culminating right of the aliveness function, and it completes a sequence. Basic standing protects the right to exist; interior sovereignty protects the right to have an inner world; this adds the right to let something of that inner world become livingly present:
To speak, create, perform, play, love, compete, celebrate, risk, and be seen — provided always that doing so does not unjustifiably consume the standing of others.
It is more than expression: expression protects what you may say, while animation is permission to become present as a living participant — to have vitality enter the shared field, not merely opinion. Like every right in the model it is bounded by the harm threshold rather than by usefulness, and it is why the ecology’s task is to protect the room in which animation can happen — time, space, recognition, tools, risk, relationships — while never presuming to manufacture the aliveness itself.
