The irreversibility register is what the ten scenarios add up to. Each scenario describes a way the transition can go wrong; read together they point at a smaller set of conditions that are worse than the rest because they cannot be undone. The register collects those — a red line being a point past which meaningful restoration of standing, jurisdiction, traversability, plurality, or human control becomes impossible or functionally impossible.
It is the framework’s master roadmap, but drawn as a map rather than a schedule: not what to build by when but which lines a civilization must not let itself cross while it still has the choice. It sorts its conditions into three severity levels — existential, constitutional, and pre-irreversibility — and is meant to be maintained as a living instrument by an Irreversibility Observatory.
