Protection from forced animation is the counterweight that keeps the model’s support for aliveness from turning into its opposite. Institutions love mandatory fun — compulsory retreats, required celebrations, forced enthusiasm, obligatory community-building — and none of it is aliveness, which cannot be commanded into being.
No institution gets jurisdiction to compel emotional participation merely because collective vitality is valuable.
People may decline, watch instead of participate, stay quiet, or leave, and the field must tolerate that. It is the aliveness-side application of interior sovereignty and the right not to be systematically deadened: the same reason the model protects vitality is the reason it may never mandate its performance.
