Conversion pathways are the deepest safeguard against the human tendency to project vitality onto stars: not to eliminate the projection, but to give it somewhere to go. Every major source of public aliveness should ideally carry a pathway that keeps the energy moving:

admiration → access → participation → competence → independent creation → activation of others

When those steps exist, projected vitality becomes the person’s own. When they are missing, admiration sets into the failure pattern — admiration → dependence → passive consumption → stronger admiration — which is concentrated aliveness feeding on itself. The healthy pattern runs the other way: contact → ignition → embodiment → independent expression → transmission. The practical implication is that the model’s responsibility is not to make everyone radiant but to build an ecology with many short distances between being inspired and becoming active — from that person makes me feel alive to something in me is now alive enough to begin.
